I am interested in a background that interposes with foreground, simulating that we, somehow, are all interconnected on many levels and themes in our lives and in our world.
If “mark making” is the language of painting, (and it is in it's basic form), how can it coincidently describe an image and describe space, and still remain true to its basic form?
I am searching for the most constructive mark to communicate in its authenticity. It is this that directs me through my painting.
