STATEMENT The clay vessels of Eshelman Pottery order and dignify human life. Clarity is given to simple forms by contrasting glazed and unglazed surfaces. Pure clean glazes render elegant presentation of food and drink. I am exploring and developing innovative and highly functional slipcast forms. My current work incorporates architectural forms and elements of utilitarian objects and tools, and is influenced by contemporary design.
